WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS

Photographers for weddings can charge outrageous prices. Of course, you will want some wonderful pictures from that special day, but does it really have to be so costly? It just may not have to be.

You will most likely not want to risk amateur photographers for your actual wedding ceremony pictures, but the reception is a different story entirely. Hire the photographer for wedding shots only. For the reception, provide disposable cameras for each guest attending. Have them take their own shots of the wedding reception with the stipulation that you and your new spouse will be getting copies of each picture taken with those cameras. This can be so much fun for guests, as well as the happy couple.

Once the pictures are all developed, you will have a much larger album than most weddings using a professional photographer through the ceremony and reception both. The guests will also have their own memoir of the day’s festivities.

If you need to cut costs even more, limit the cameras to one per table at the reception. Everyone can have a turn at snapping shots. When it is all put together, you will have a collection of memories from that special day, as seen through the eyes of all the guests. You will be amazed at how much fun the end result can be.
